Day 01

Start from the hotel or airport and visit the Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya. This is followed by a visit to the traditional handicraft museum with precious stones, jewelry, silk and batik. In Kandy, you can marvel at Buddha's secret tooth relic in the Golden Temple. In the evening you will see a unique kandyan dance performance and spend the night in Kandy.

Day 02

After breakfast you visit the Aluvihara rock temple, where the Päli Conen was first written entirely in text on Ola (palm) leaves.
Then you will see the largest vegetable market in Sri Lanka in Dambulla. After lunch we drive through rice fields, orchards and traditional villages. Overnight is in Dambulla.

Day 03

The next day you visit the second capital of Sri Lanka: Polonnaruwa. We have lunch in a typical Sri Lankan farmer restaurant. In the afternoon, go on a jeep safari through Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park. Overnight is in Dambulla.

Day 04

The next morning, visit Sigiriya Rock. Then visit the golden temple of Dambulla. After lunch we pass rice fields, rubber plantations and typical local villages.
